Raleigh, North Carolina Branch
The LEAD Institute North Carolina Branch focuses on one of the most critical challenges facing formerly incarcerated individuals — finding and keeping a job. We work extensively with pre- and post-release inmates to develop the job-readiness skills necessary to gain employment and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
A key focus of our NC operations is ensuring a smooth, effective transition for Caribbean inmates exiting Federal Prisons throughout the US and returning to their respective Caribbean countries — initiating the intake process, providing a needs assessment, and reconnecting them with their families.

Structured training in job-readiness, interpersonal communication, and interview skills. We focus on getting the job, keeping the job, and getting promoted — while identifying and overcoming self-defeating behaviors.
Nonprofit Partnership Services
We extend hands-on training and services through other 501(c)3 organizations whose purpose aligns with ours — helping nonprofits deliver extended services without additional payroll expense.
Caribbean Reentry Liaison
A key mission of the NC branch is facilitating a smooth transition for Caribbean nationals exiting US Federal Prisons — providing intake, needs assessment, and family reconnection services before repatriation.
